Smarpis Racing Challenge

Smarpis Racing Challenge, is a game created for a temp agency in Norway that uses a "real" Smart as part of their marketing. The game currently resides on their homepage http://www.arpi.no/, but was initially (from 07-04-03 to 16-05-03) featured on the Norwegian Big Brother TV-Show´s homepage. During the time it was featured on the Big Brother site, the game was accessed more than 140.000 times. Not bad considering that the population of Norway is in the region of 4 million people.

More importantly, we had no support mails in regards to the game, as would have been expected when releasing a 3D game. This is partially to do with the extensive options in the game, that enables even old machines, with low specifications, to play the game.

The aim of the game is to complete 4 laps in the best possible time. Click on the images below, or on the "start" text below, to launch the game

Arpi Allianse - The "real" Smart

As mentioned above the game was based on the premise that Arpi Allianse wanted to profile their newly acquired Smart car, that has been fitted with livery in order to promote the company. To the right is a picture of the "real" Smarpis.
